I found this on some new live rock I purchased. I assume it's a featherduster, it is green in color and retracts when spooked or if I shine a light on it. I don't see any tube, just a small hole in the rock...thanks!

yea its a feather duster.

Sounds like a featherduster to me. The tube could just be farther in the rock.

Thanks for the replies, it is really small, maybe 1/4" wide when open. How big will they grow?

The second head looks kinda spiral in nature, almost resembles a Christmas tree worm. Only thing that is missing is the operculum that closes off the hole when the worm retreats. I could be blind though :D

ROB2005, I will try to get a better picture. I took that with my point and shoot. I don't have a macro lens yet for my DSLR :sad2:
