Hey all,
I'm considering purchasing a deltec MCE 300 for my FOWLR tank.
The only issue I'm having now is that, according to the specs, the intake and output pipes stick out too far over the tank. In other words, the horizontal distance from the skimmer body to where the input/output go vertical is too long. I have to have a tight fitting lid since I have a jawfish and this distance basically would prevent the lid from closing.
So my question is this: can the horizontal portions of both the input and output be cut shorter?
