What should be the ideal parameters for 65 gal anemone tank. What should be my main concerns. I not putting any corals. The Tamk has been running for two weeks. I'm running a canister filter also and im still figuring out what media to put in there. Right now I'm running carbon and floss in it. Also ceramic nitrate rings.

You will get a lot of people saying you should wait til your tank matures since it has only been running for two weeks. Do you other filtration such as live rock? You didn't mention what kind of lighting you have.

Has your tank cycled? Usually you should wait 6 months before you put in anemone.

You definitely need to allow your tank to stabilize 5 or 6 months, in the meantime, research which species of anemone you want. As you may already know, anemones are not to be recommended to beginners as they are generally quite difficult to very difficult to successfully maintain. That said, you need reef quality lighting, temperature around 80F, specific gravity at ~1.026 (with an accurately calibrated hydrometer or refractometer), good water flow, proper substrate depending in the species, and preferably nitrates near zero.

i set up the tank with water from my existing 210 reef which the anemones were in. And it also has live rock from the 210 also. I was just curious since im not putting corals would i not need to do as much as far as dosing for corals. And the canister what do you think i should be running in it.
