I have a 46 gallon bow front reef tank. I am planning on introducing a Rose Bubble Tip Anemone for the first time in hopes that my perc hosts it. (It's currently hosting a torch coral which sometimes frays his fins!) I have two powerheads going, along with a HOB skimmer and a cannister filter, and have metal halide lights. I have heard that powerfilters are death for anemones and was wondering what was a somewhat affordable solution to the powerheads?

Any thoughts?

Put sponges on the intakes until you know its not going to move.

Keep the sponges clean or you will have a nitrate issue.
