It seems like everyday I'm finding something new coming out of my LR. I found this today just under my mushroom. It kinda looks like a tubeworm/feather duster, but it it clear. A new mushroom perhaps?

And this is the second day I saw this string thing coming off my mushroom. Any ideas?

1st pick I can't tell.
2nd pic I would guess that you have a vermetid snail under the mushroom.

1st one could be aiptasia...but it also looks like a baby button coral stretching to reach some light

I wasn't thinking aiptasia. I've been fighting that since I set the tank up. I found this searching for aiptasia. This thing doesn't have the tentacles on the head. It is more of a cup or flat disk. Also the "stem" is fat, where as the aiptasia I've been dealing with has a skinny "stem".

Fist pic is a small mushroom, leave it be and you will see.
Second pic I would just blast with a turkey baster and that will probably that.

+1 on the first one being a baby mushroom.

+1, baby mushroom. This is why it's very important not to listen to every bit of advise you get on forums.

Definitely a baby mushroom in the first pick.

Second pic could be a few things, but probably nothing to worry about.

1) No idea.. if it has tentacles, maybe aiptasia. If not, it is a baby something.

2) No worries on the stringly thing. I see those coming off my ricordia. It may be from snails moving around the area, but maybe the coral slimes when it gets upset (a guess). I just puff a turkey baster at it lightly to dislodge the slime. Or you can just leave it. It will likely disappear in a while.
