Is anyone else using this product? I have been using it for about 2 months now and my CAL level stay between 480 to 500 and my Mag is up at 1500.

I followed the instructions on the bottle 9 to 1 and I am using it with my 400 gallon system. Before I filled up my Cal Reactor I have dosing my hand and found I was using Cal and Mag pretty quick. With the results I have had I started to wonder if my testing kits went bad. I took to a couple LFS and they got pretty close to the same results.

Anyone else having the same results?

I'd remove the magnesium and let the level drop back to 1285 ppm or so. The product likely is fine. It's dolomitic limestone, from what I can tell.

I talked to Boomer about this and there are inconsistencies in the dosing instructions. I can't quite remember, but I think one statement implies 1g increase 1G by 70ppm and the statement immediately after it implies 1g increases 1G by 142ppm.
