how is that converted to ppm? this is with new filters and membrane.

if you mean mg/l that is equivalent to ppm.

.49 is awfully high after ro di. Are you sure all your filters are new? What is your TDS reading? I would do another test to verify the result.

Something seems to be broken. Which brand and model of photometer are you using?

i'm using the $200 hanna photometer. i just tried wiping down the cuvet and now the reading says .01. thanks for the help guys

Did you test RO when the system was new? Some systems just can't take it out. Especially the home drinking water systems.

yeah i just swapped the membrane, sediment,carbon,catalytic carbon, and 2 de-ions
