Help QUICK before I kill a hitch hiker that doesnt have to die

I left a filter sock in for a little longer than I should have (A week and a 1/2) and I found this guy in it. He is still alive but I dont think he will last to long on the bag... us he good or bad?

What is it.. a sea cucumber? Good, bad, should I put him back in, or get rid of him the american standard way.

Sure looks like a benificial cucumber to me. I have many, many like it...including three or four that might be 12" long.

when small its about an inch and a 1/2. stretched out he could probobly hit 3 or 4 inches. Its stripped brown and like a greyish color. I put him in a little breader net cube thing hung on the side. I guess I'll release him back in.
