Nova Extreme 8x54 inputs?

I'm thinking of picking up a Nova Extreme 8x54 off Ebay for my 55g. I think it's a little much but the price seems good.

Any inputs? It is one of the older ones with a single reflector.

8x54w won't fit over a 55. It will be hanging over the edges. I'm not sure if most 6x will fit, either, but they might just make it.

Yeah 8 x 54w will be a waste over a 55g tank. I tested a 6 x 54w over my old 55g tank and that was too big too.
