Ocean Gallery II on 22 in greenbrook/plainfield took a few of my cichlids when i was scrapping that tank. They even gave me in-store credit. bout $20 for 4 fish....but I haven't seen the guy there that agreed to take my fish in about a year...not to say that someone else won't agree to it as well.

Is there any limit on any of these places? I have a 3ft long eel that I'm considering getting rid of, just don't see many stores having the room for that.

lol...i'm sure there is...i would call or stop by before you drag the fish over...
Place I go to used to have a huge fish in their tank in the back...I haven't been there in a while..but he was probably 2-3' long last i saw.
Camelo,
I'll give the picasso a new home, if you can find a store. I've already have a maroon clown in my tank.
Thank.

Yeah I will definitely have to call first. I'm not driving all the way up there first, let alone with a +3ft huge thick eel! I'd feel bad having a lfs cram him into a 40b and selling him to a new hobbyist with a month old 55g tank. Might Just have to keep him! Never have the heart to get rid of fish!

i have a guy that might be interested in both, if i dont hear back from him, ill let you know...
I've found that you can almost always find a reefer looking for what you're getting rid of! If you can't find an LFS you could try here amongst your fellow reefers (even for your 3' eel). What kind of eel is it? We had a golden morray (banana yellow) for years. He was my favorite fish.

Its a Brazilian Dragon Moray. I can't just give him away though, he's not bad at all, just looking to go a different direction with my tank. I'd love to keep him, but can't afford to setup another tank for him.

If I had the cash to start another tank I would definitely buy him. I would love to see some pics if you have any on hand.
