dose anyone have any issues with the octo nw model and micro bubbles? im hope n its just the breakin.

Looks good. You did put some thought into it. I like the overflow off to the side. I'm sure the tank will do very well.

I'll be willing to say the micro bubbles are from break in on the skimmer. They all go through a period of releasing micro bubbles.......

Are you going to keep coral and what type?

soft,lps and some sps. i plan to upgrade my light to a 8x24 or a 6x39. i currently have a 4x39 watt finnex t5 with a 15 3watt led bar built in.

well i wasnt happy with the way the tank looked with overflow on the side,the way the light was hung and it being bb.. sooo i added reef sand (dry) ,redone the rock work,pulled a k3 out redone the overflow and made a light tower out of threded pipe and 2 90s. i also took some time to paint it black as well.

ps i was thinking about maybe building a big canopy around the light.. what do you guys and gals think?

so i've been thing about gettin the reef keeper lite L3 OR EVEN THE L1 AND JUST ADDING THE SL2. DONT KNOW YET BUT THIS COULD BE MY NEXT TOY. IS THIS NEW TOY REALLY WORTH THE MONEY CAUSE I CAN SEE WHERE YOU CAN SEND SOME $$$

Looks great I do like how a canopy hides the equiptment includin the light. Plus it helps with jumpers form carpet surfing

I have the RKL lite V1. I love it. Cost me $100 at my LFS and control my lights ans heater. Once my new tank is finished, I'll have it control my heaters, lights, and fan for the sump.

I love 40 breeders, it's a tank size I've only come to learn about recently. They're like mini 120's! Def in my future.

have you had any problems with the over flow and how does it re-prime if the power goes out

i like the RKL-ALC that can controll dimmable ballest witch means redoing the lights.. the RKL-MLC for the 29 day moon cycle is something im definitly going to grab.. what i like about the RKL is you can build it the way you what it>>

I have a RKL on my 40 breeder and love it. It's worth the $100 just for the temp control functions IMO. I have it running my heater/fan and will put my powerheads on it when I get the new bushings in for my Koralia Evols.
