I found the above link to a chart to help figure out what lighting options are best for my tank. I'm building a 90g 48x18x24. Trying to go with a canopy to give a finished and polished look to the setup.

I was looking at getting the Marineland Deluxe Pine Series with a canopy.

What are good lighting options to work with this canopy? (It's not clear from the website what the dimensions are or which lighting systems would work with it.)

I would like to be able to maintain soft corals and LPS & SPS corals.

Since you will be going with a canopy, it'd be very easy (and cheaper) to go with a retrofit kit. For a 90g with SPS, I'd recommend 2x250watt metal halides with supplemental T5 actinics such as this one:

I was in the same boat as you are, looking to light a deeper tank. The tank i have below in my sig is 29" deep and has a AGA pine canopy. Likely simillar to yours, with nice big slats on top for cooling. This was my choice: http://www.marineandreef.com/Hamilton_Technology_48_inch_Metal_Halide_T5_HO_HQI_p/rhtaa42h1502t5.htm , fitted with 400 watt metal halides.

Here was my thread: http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1845916

For a 22" depth, this was my choice: http://www.marineland.com/sites/Marineland/products/productdetail.aspx?id=2054&cid=3617&mid=3228 . Thsi should easily fit your canopy since it is made by the same manufacturer, but it's only 150 watt MH. Through fate and circumstance, rather than a 22" depth tank, I got a "free" surpise upgrade to a bigger tank with 27" depth, but stuck with thhe same lights. I plan to build up the rockwork a bit to make up for it. You can do the same if you wish.
