Wall Thickness

I have just set up my new tank which has dry chambers for the mp40 motors. It has the black perspex glued straight on the glass so the total thickness is 3/4". If you remove the spacer do you still use the dry gasket as i have just tryed it without the pin spacer but the noise & vibration was very bad. It not a faulty unit as it was running fine on old tank which was 3/8.

The dry gasket must be used on tanks with 3/4" glass, only the pin spacer is omitted.
