Can I control a marineland stealth pro-heater on my RKL? I ask this because it seems to me that the marineland stealth pro-heater has some sort of built-in control. So what do you guys think?

Yes, absolutely. In fact, having redundant temperature controls is one of the main reasons for getting a controller.

Just set the thermostat on the heater a little higher than the RKL.
