NPS sources

Are there any businesses that are particularly good sources for NPS corals, or am I just as well off choosing a vender and asking them to get what I want?

What are you exactly looking for?

If you have good LFS you deal with, I would just ask for them to bring in corals.

That is what I do mostly also, Gary. That way you know they have not been starved too long. The longer they sit at some wholesaler the less your chance of getting them to come around. Although no guaranty they did not sit there before the store got them but then I can check them out and make sure they are open. Getting them open that first time is the most important step. I would like to see that before I buy them.

Thanks Mike and Don. I guess I wanted to do a little shopping to see what was available and what it cost. Looks like that's not going to be the best approach. I just don't want to spend a lot of money gaining experience keeping these kinds of corals, but from your comments, I'm going to have to place an order to have a good chance of getting something that will survive so I can gain that experience. I'll just have to adjust my thinking. Thanks for the feedback.
