Hello,
My tank is getting some green hair and I started to look at the source. My RO/DI unit is about 8-9 months old and the DI is dark so I know its time to replace. The reading is about 26ppm when it comes out. I know it should be for mine at least a 000ppm..
From there I have had a 10gl bucket over night in my basement. I'm heating it to get ready to mix the salt. In that bucket it reads 120ppm. Same as tap Walter.. But why?? Its been over night and why so high? Also, the bucket that im making right now reads at 26ppm but over night will it jump 100ppm??
Any clues?
All I know is I need new DI but it should not make a HUGE difference....
