Etss on a manifold good or bad

I have a etss 600 with the suggested pump iwaka. The pump is pretty noisy and was wondering if putting the skimmer on a manifold with a snapper would work with less noise and still give me skimming production?

If you have a setup like this with a etss. How do you like it? A picture would be nice too.

ETSS needs stable intake, you won't get good skimming if sharing pump.

Thanks, that's what I figured. I haven't seen the Etss thread around to skim thru.

Could I still used the snapper pump with it throttled back?
