I have a 'green' BTA. The problem is that its only green when under just actinics. Well... its not a problem... just a thing.

Is a BTAs coloration determined by the temperature of lighting it is exposed to? Under full daytime lighting (65w PC 50/50 Daylight(6700k/10k), 65w PC Actinic) it appears brown. Only after the daylight bulb goes off in the evening does he turn green.

Is this normal?

No

BTAs come in beige.

Yes, this is normal. Actinic bulbs will change the appearance of coral and anemones.
How long have you had this anemone? Can you post a pic? It is possible this anemone has lost some zooxanthellae and will improve over time.

Fairly normal. It is shocking how much a difference that the color temp of the bulbs make -- or even a flash from a camera.

Same anemone,

Flash,

I have had him since sunday. I got him from a fellow reefer who was moving. He had him at the bottom of a 75g with 6x54w T5. I have him in a 20L under 2x65w PC where his top point is 7 inches from the lights.

He does not appear to me to be bleached much, but I'll take your word. Please forgive the photo... I am a lot of things... talented photographer is not one of them.

It is going to LOOK a slightly different color in your tank, considering the difference in the lights that you are using compared to where it came from.

Case in point, I have 2*250 MH + 4*54 T5 over my 75 -- a while back I changed out 2 of the T5 to a different bulb (( the KZ Fiji purple )) and I was shocked at how different everything in the tank looked.

For comparison, this is him with the daylights turned out.

I really love the fiji purple in my tank.

I have a gbta in my 90G and it is green when the lights are on. (2 blue +, 1 fiji purple, 1 aqua blue). Once the lights are off the nem is brown in color.
