Ehiem 1260 return pump cavitates after feeding

Wondering if any of you have ever observed this...... After I feed (Selcon, phyto, mysis shrimp with Selcon) my Ehiem 1260 return pump appears to cavitate & spews micro bubbles into my display tank for a while (1 hour or so) then it stops.

+1 Im also curious. I have a Ehiem 1260 for my skimmer & 1262 for return and occationaly after feeding (mainly frozen foods), I see a similar 'bursting effect' of micro bubbles in my tank as well for a short time, then it clears up. I thought it was my skimmer. hmmm.:hmm4:

I use 1260 for return and do see the bubbles at the start, but thats for about 10 seconds only. 1 hour seems too long. perhaps your return section water gets too low.
