I have an Aqua C EV180 protein skimmer for many years. Its performance has always been underwhelming.
I just saw a video on Youtube where a guy installed a larger pump (Mag 9.5 vs 7) on his EV180 to overdrive it. The most recent instruction booklet from Aqua C also mentions doing this.
Here is my question: What is better...a regular mag drive pump or a mag drive pump with a with venturi intake and air fractioning impeller?
