Are bubble anemones hardy? I just bought a small one and i was wondering how to take care of these little buggers. he keeps wanting to move into a crack and hide where i cant see him. i dont like how he wants to go in the caves. And do they need a lot of light? help!

ALWAYS research things before buying them don't ask the major questions after...
They like the fit their feet into ridges in the rocks, so they are protected.
Can you give us some more information on your set-up?
They are the easiest anemones but still require good care.
I would feed it about 2-3 times a week, they like krill and other meaty foods. Just place the food on the tentacles and it will eat it by itself.

I keep rose BTAs in all of my tanks. They require strong light - not metal halide - but at least a heavy VHO or PC. They require to be fed one or two times per week. I feed mine scallops and sliverslides. To some degree more feeding can make up for alittle less light. They still need a lot of light. They do wander around your tank until they find a place they like. Lastly, they need high quality water.
If you can provide those conditons it should do fine. For more information try the search feature with BTA - you will find a ton of information.
Good luck,
Connie

this is the link of my dreams!
It answers with certainty why you don't put hands into the aquarium too among other things.
Thankyou.

Thank you for putting it on the thread, thank you Karen who made it. I love the pictures!
It made me realize that I do like my anemonea. Things are going just fine with him, though, I think the food thing could be something to work on. I've been giving him a combination of
squid and cod and shrimp and brine shrimp and mises shrimp that is all cut to pea sized pieces (mixed with the bs and mises). raw
Maybe I should switch to silversides dipped in vitamins eh? hmmm.
