Which RO system?

ihave aprox 820g total water volume within my systems and i change aprox 350g give or take a month with aprox 760g of the water being FOWLR and 60g of the systems being a softy reef

i would estimate aprox 400g of water used a month between water changes and top off

main issue with my incomming water is high phosphates

well....i guess a few questions will help you decide

How much and how long do you store your water? If you have little storage capacity , then a larger unit for faster water production is needed. If you can store it with agitation and heat, then a smaller unite is feasible.

Also what is your budget? your making 5000 gallons a year without emergencies or spills ( lets hope not! ) . So lets say 6000 just in case. What is the life of the cartridges you are planning on purchasing? So a years supply of water divided by the cartridge cost and you get a price per gallon for the ro/di unit.

There are a lot of units out there with a lot of gpd outputs

this might help in your choice of what your looking for

i have a lot of good experience with the kent hi-s 60 gpd unit and some tuff green plastic trashcans with a float valve tapped into the wall of the trashcan.

Spectrapure makes very good RO/DI units. I have the 100gpd.

If you have chloramines in your water too, the BRS units are nice. I have the 75gpd deluxe unit and it has worked great.
