what brand do you consider is the most reliable and trusted heater in the market?

Exactly. There are no reliable heaters in this hobby. They fail all too often and can take thousands in livestock with them. I would get a middle of the road one and connect it to a Ranco. You could even connet the Ranco to a reef controller so you have additional control and warnings, ie a text message if the temp goes above/below a set point.

Always a titanium IMO, at least you won't have to worry about it shattering.

I will add that many suggest going with two lower wattage heaters versus one full wattage heater...that way if one fails, it will be much less likely to cook your tank.
