Mag Dirve 9.5 shaft broken?

I just took apart my Mag Drive 9.5 and the ceramic shaft is in 2 pieces. Is this broken or does it come in 2 pieces? Thanks Bret

broken but it should still work. i broke mine in my octo skimmer and had to order the whole impeller.cause they dont just sell the shaft. BUT after i ordered it i tried using the broken shaft and it worked perfect sooo i will hold onto the new one..

Thanks for the info fellows. That is what I thought but nice to know it will run a while I get a replacment.
