So i just got my octopus BH 100 in. I searched as much as i could but i guess i could not find the right threads. The instructions are horrible. So far i have the cup sitting about half way in and am noticing that non of the bubbles are making it into the collection cup. If i move it down a little though ALOT of water makes its way in. So i will leave it over night and see what happens.
Another question i have is, is a protein skimmer something I could put on a timer. its loud and it is in a bedroom. Could i have it only run during the day (say same schedule as my lights) And still perform adequately?
Maybe some pictures of the units in your tanks as well would help. Thank you
