I have a Marine betta, royal grama, and lawnmower blenny.

I saw a large fireshrimp this weekend (must have been around 3" in size) Looked really cool and would add nice color to my tank.

I've read that shrimp kept with bettas "with caution".. I've also read marine bettas will only eat things that fit in their mouth. And not necessarily nip or attack things agressively. More passive eaters.. When mine is hungry though, he's at times more than passive. Right now he won't even eat much for mysis. A bite here or there, but he spits it out (not sure why).

He'll eat flake and not spit it out.

So, I am going to be setting up a QT to QT all 3 fish in hypo in a 25g tank due to my grama having had visible symptoms of Ich. It seems to have had no spots for about a week now, but I'm not taking chances.

So two questions:
A) could I have a fire shrimp in the DT to take care of food (I'll feed it once a week for the corals and to keep bacteria alive), and

B) will ich survive on shrimp?

C) Could a Betta and Fireshrimp be kept together without it becoming food?
