I bought both a used 6025 and 6045 from an rc member. The 6045 flow is too strong. I saw in another question that both pumps use the same housing. If I buy a 6025 motor block will that make my 6045 into a 6025?

That isn't correct, 6025 is a seperate housing, 6025.130. 6045 and 6055 use the same housing 6045.130. We don't have a solution at this time. The new adjustable 6045 housing that will be available next month will fit a 6025.

Can I put the new adjustable housings on the older 6045? That is the one I am trying to slow down.

No, the 6045 motor had different tab positions, it shared the design of the 6055 for the most part. The new controllable 6045 is based on the 6025. It may be possible when the 6015 comes out to use the smaller propeller of the 6015 on a 6045 to reduce the flow.
