Will the MP40 Gen 2 work as slave for a MP40 ES in an ES mode like tidal swell???
or does it just work as slave in the modes the older version can do?
In my case I'll be adding 2 vortechs ES and wondering wether I should upgrade my current MP40 to make better use of ES.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Also I'm not able to find any upgrade kit from Mp40 to MP40ES online are they only avaible with Ecotech or should online vendors have them? all I find online is MP20 to MP40 ES???

Yes, you are only able to make use of the EcoSmart modes with EcoSmart controllers. The Gen 2 controller will not respond if you try to use it in those modes. You should contact your distributor to see if they can order you these upgrade kits if they only carry the MP20 to MP40wES kits.
