I think I've come along way since starting saltwater tanks 2 years ago. I kept freshwater tanks for years and the only advice I had going in was from Petco. I've learned LOADS since I started out mostly thanks to lots of reading and Reefcentral. So here are some pics of my jouney into reef tanks.
May 2008 1st setup. NO flourescent lighting, no powerheads, LFS told me that mandarin would eat frozen brine. That's a condy anemone in the shell in the middle. Notice the tiny green sinularia (brown) in the sand to the left.

Novemer 2008 after a lot more learning and reading. Moved up to CF lighting and more rock/flow. Didn't know chili corals were non photo. My green sinularia was the only thing that survived my original attempt.

Starting to learn a little now, coralline algae actually growning.

This is about 1 year after I started and the last pic before I upgraded to a 75.

Most recent. My 1st coral I ever bought is still alive through all my mistakes.

Hope you enjoy...and don't rip me about the tangs:D. I get them in trades and trade them away before they're in there too long.
