I currently have a new nano tank in the works. I would like to think its somewhat unique. I need a new low maintanence tank, I am in the process of breaking down the current tank I have and replacing it with this one.
It will be viewable on two sides, those two panels will be starfire and the back two will be blacked out. The tank and stand will be placed in the corner of the room to fit the 90 degree angle of the corner.
The dimensions are 20" x 20" x 20x" on three sides, and one of the back panels will be 20" x 19"....why lower on one side? To accomodate for the coast to coast overflow running the length of 20".
Total water volume on this tank is going to be 33g in the rimless display.
The sump being made by Advanced Acrylics is 17" x 17" x 17" = 21g sump
The stand is not set yet, Im considering building with Seventh&7th designs, he is here in LA and makes some awesome modern furniture.
But I am still considering a steel stand
My stocking plans are as follows:
-keeping my yasha goby and its pistol shrimp partner
-keeping my ORA semi snowflake clowns, which are juvies
-a few small cardinals
-long spine urchin
-a fighting conch
-a few blue leg hermits
-keeping my two halloween hermits
-a couple clams
-yellow cucumbers.
-for my clowns either a flame BTA or a carpet, depending on if I find a nice specimen.
coral will be very selective not much sps at all and im really not sure yet which direction i want to go with coral. like i said, i dont have as much time as i would like for a tank right now, so i want to keep it pretty easy.
the tank should be done in the next couple weeks and ill have some pictures up. Im moving at the end of august so it will be set up and running end of august/early september.

ps. I'll be gunning for the NOTM by the end of 2010 :uzi:
