ello everyone,
I went to the LFS today to look at the Potters Angel again and since the tank was not super clouded like it was the previous times I went there (from trying to dig and catch corris wrasses by the LFS employees) I actually got to see him eat. He (or she) voraciously ate mysis shrimp and was a bit picky towards seaweed delight...but i was comfortable with how well he ate.
The fish is currently floating in my tank and I will drip acclimate him soon. Is it okay to drip acclimate him in a bucket? It is a leftover salt bucket I have been using to store RO water. Also, is it okay to introduce him to the tank without quarantine? I have never quarantined fish and have not had an outbreak of ick in about 6 months...knock on wood.
I do have a 40 B that is going to be used as my sump sitting in my garage, but I only have 2 402 powerheads, a left over heater and no filtration for that tank. Should I still quarantine? I also have no stand for the tank. What would you suggest?
Here is a blurry pic of the Potters in the bag for the moment until I hear more from my trusted reef central advisors! Thanks in advance,
Robert
