How much of an actual difference does the 4 inches of hieght make for a 90 gallon?
Will I be able to have more fish? Will the tank be that much more stable?

I have a 75 gallon now, but have a line on a 90 gallon thats a good deal.
I only have the tank and stand so far, was just finished making my shopping list for things I needed to buy.

So should I ditch the 75 and go 90? or is there no real difference?

Thanks.

15 gallons can be a good bit.

4" higher wouldn't make me upgrade to a 90 gallon tank. If there are other factors like you want a DSB or the 90 is reef ready and the 75 isn't drilled then the 90 may be a better option.

DSB is something I put off my list because in the 75 it took up too much space. Good point that it will let me add a DSB now.

So the extra height doesn't allow me to stock any more fish, but having a DSB is a benefit.

The first thing that made me look at the 90 was the overflow was on the other side.

I'm so on the fence, it will end up only costing me the time to go get it and sell the current one once its all said and done cash will be a wash.
