Does anyone know what these mats are? They are only really on this one coral skeleton/live rock.

Looks like it MIGHT be a skeleton of a Montipora Cap.

no its not the Montipora skeleton its the red mats in front middle right.

probably red algae. if it is fuzzy or shows any kind of branching/differentiation, it is red turf or maybe small macros starting. if it is smooth sheets, probably cyano is involved

edit: a clearer pic would help. the uppermost left one almost looks like GSP mat or purple sps even, in the blur...

Do they come off easily with siphoning or a jet of water? If so probably cyanobacteria. Siphon it off regularly to keep ahead of it.
