hello all.
may sound like a stupid question, but is there any measurements on how clear the water is ?

Not a dumb question at all. It's called turbidity but I don't think those kinds of measurements are really useful for reef tanks.

Amazing :) thanks. gonna read more on it.

I run carbon 24/7 and also have ALOT of sponged in the tank and water is CLEAR.

I am experimenting with Zeo zym and Zeo coral snow which are supposed to make the water even more clear ! but my eyes cant tell the difference anymore lol

I really think the only causes of turbidity you have to worry about in a reef tank are phytoplankton or bacterial blooms or sediment in the water column. Unless your water looks cloudy I wouldn't worry too much about trying to make it clearer. Clear is clear in my book...I suppose obsessing is just part of the hobby though. It can always be better! :reading:
