Tank is a 75 gallon with a 33 gallon sump. Mostly softies with some LPS. Current fish list is:

2 Black and White Clowns
1 Midas Blenny
1 Tiny (1.5") Hippo Tang

I am finding it tough to pick another good reef safe addition. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anyone have any favourites?

Thanks

Radiant wrasse? One of my favorite fish that will get too big for my 45 but a 75 should be fine.

I was considering a wrasse of some kind. I have an open tank though and I have read that they are jumpers. I will look into the Radiant.

Any other wrasses? I know a lot have 6 lines but I have heard they can be aggressive. I want something that will work for sure.

I have two true percs, what used to be a tiny hippo (still pretty small) and a midas blennie - after that my favorite fish are my tailspot blennie and my orchid dottyback - this in a SPS dominated 120G mixed reef. I also have a yellow clown goby - interesting but doesn't really do anything and a yellow wrasse - a bit aggressive - probably going to get rid of him someday.

I would really like a mandarin but I've tried twice and it just doesn't seem to work out for me.

Very similar fish list rsaha. You have good taste! Did the Midas Blenny and the Tailspot get along well? You think I would have any probs in a 75?

I have also been considering the orchid dottybacks. A little scared they may be aggressive. Also, I have 6 shrimp in my tank. I heard dottybacks like to snack on shrimp.

I should also say that I tried and green and yellow clown goby. For some reason they didnt do well. I have never had much luck with gobies.

Have you thought about a Flame Hawkfish? Nice color, and lots of personality.

I have. From what I read on Hawkfish they would eat all my snails and shrimps. I do like the look of them though.

I just put a Clown Fairy Wrasse into my tank about a week ago, and he's been a model citizen so far. http://www.bluezooaquatics.com/productDetail.asp?did=1&pid=972&cid=290

That is a good option. I will do a little more research on them.

Thanks

The Royal Gramma seems like a good option. Doesnt sound like they are aggressive at all.

Tons of personality, beautiful coloration and they stay small.

Did quite a bit of surfing before I added the tailspot blennie. The two blennies get along fine. My LFS recommended the orchid dottyback as the only peaceful dottyback and mine at least lives up to the recommendation.

my sixline does great in my 75g, he's a very active swimmer.

If it were me I'd look at the radiant wrasse, potters angel, or lamarcks angel

I have two Ocellaris clowns, a Mandarin, a Yellow Tang, and a Royal Gramma in my 75G. I HAD a Pyjama Cardinal as well, but the Royal Gramma constantly harrased it and nipped its fins. The Cardinal finally succumbed.

In my 75 I have a Royal Gramma, Bangaii Cardinal, Lawnmower blenny, mandarin, engineer goby with no aggresion at all. I did remove the sixline wrasse that I had in there, too aggressive to the gramma and mandarin. I highly recommed the royal gramma and the bangaii cardinal, awesome fish with great personalities.

Another vote for royal gramma, and what about a dragonet? Amazing colors and never bothers anyone.
