Hey all! This little hitchhiker came in on some button polyps and has since separated into 3. Now the new ones are actually moving around the tank. One has actually moved himself on to the front glass so I took a picture of the underneath him and then one on a rock. I figure its an anemone but I need a second opinion.

Kill, kill, kill,die, die, die:uzi::uzi::uzi:

They won't reproduce fast with good water quality, but will eventually become a plague.

They didn't sting my corals but choked out some small frag of zoos I had.

I tried, lime juice, joes juice, kalkawaser paste, blue whatever. None of it worked. Then I read every post I could find on these guys and found 2 fish people claim to work. The first was the false faculua, he was eating coral 15 minutes after being put in the tank. Nice knowing ya fishy back to the store you go.

Then I ordered a matted file fish. I heard they sometimes have a taste for corals, but I figured I would give it a shot. They are a slow moving shy fish at first. They can be right in front of you and you won't know it they blend in that well. After watch him for a few days I finally caught him in the act. Slurp! One majano gone, then two then three and so on.

He has nearly cleaned the tank of them and the ones that are left stay retracted the whole day, so I don't see it being long for them. It's a shame because when they get bigger around an inch or two in size they can get real pretty. Purple with green tips.

The only down side with the fish so far is he will pull out vibex snails from the sand. Never caught him eating them because every time I catch him I will throw some sinking food in and he goes right for that. But, I have found a few empty shells here and there. Vibes snail are cheap so it's a small price to pay for such a great fish. He is probably one of my favorites to watch even though he ain't too pretty:hmm3:

He came from live aquaria.com and was pretty cheap too.
