Anyone have any experience with these 2 fish, in particular the sturgeons?

How aggressive are these fish?

Except for large species of sturgeon, I don't think most of them are salt water. Neither is good for home aquariums unless you have a huge tank (dwarfing mine)

I'm not even sure a big swimming pool would be big enough.

anything smaller than a personal bay is too small for them, and when i say bay, i mean lake

Sure, I live near Lake Michigan and we see Lake Sturgeon get to be 6ft to 8ft long weighing in at 150-200lbs, although they're pretty rare these days thanks to over fishing, roe harvesting, etc...sad.

Even a large swimming pond would not be large enough for these fish, they get extremely large.

I have no idea what you could possibly feed such a fish without going broke...it probably eats more in a week than you do.

I'm down in Miami and they sell them at about 6 inches or so.

Stay tank size for a couple years.

I think it's a bad idea. Just MHO.

Lungfish on the other hand don't need a ton of water and care not that much about water quality. I had one for a few years, nothing else, not even most plants, could live with it :( He now lives back at my friends whom I got it from. We figure he's about closer to 30 years old now since we were able to track it back to the person who bought it.
