Which Koralia Evos would be best for my 40 cube? This will be a mixed reef. I was thinking either 2 -1050's or 2-750's. They will be controlled by my Reefkeeper 2 controller. They will be the only circulation other than my AquaC Remora skimmer.

I don't have the $$ for Vortechs or Tunze right now, and I'm hoping Hydor has fixed the bushing issue with these Evolutions...

Thanks

I have 2 1050s with an Aqua C Remora on my 40 Breeder and I like the flow. I think that would be good for a cube too. 1050 seemed too strong for the first week but then they calmed down.

I recently purchased 2 1050's and had to get the new bushing sent to me from Hydor. It came pretty fast and very easy to change out. I have them in a 60g cube and they rock!

Thanks

when using them on a "wave maker" it tends to go in the reverse direction. With the new bushings they will not do that.

It depends on what kinds of corals you want in your tank. If SPS I would go with 2 1050s. LPS and softies I think you would be ok with the lower level Evos.

I think I'll go probably for the 1050's then, as long as people are having success with them on wavemakers (or my RK2 specifically). Thanks very much for your experiences!

I have a pair of the 750s covering the front of my 40 breeder and they are just about right. I think a 1050 would be too much for my fungia, clam and a couple other low flow loving coral. 1050s would be great for an SPS tank though

Really??? I was really hoping to get a clam, I was wondering if they'd be sensitive to the flow. I'm not really big on SPS, just never wanted to limit myself one way or the other. :)
