75 is the low end of optimum temp range of 76-83 - http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2004-05/rhf/index.php Personally, I like to keep my temp around 78. I've kept my lights off for several days with no issues. Are you having troulbe with your lighting or some algae issues?

How fast did your tank go to 75 degrees? What was it at before? I'd say your corals (depending on the type) could last a max 3 days without lights as long as they had everything else (flow, etc...)

Interested to hear response. Been having power issues lately. I did go for 4 days without lights during a power outage. Had a generator to run some pumps but no lights, no problems. I've had my tank around 76 with no issues.

My corals lasted for more than 3 days. The only light they received was minimal natural light through a window across the room. Sps did lose a little color but quickly bounced back.

Well Im moving soon and won't be able to hang my T-5 lights until I get the legs. It's being shipped and can take up to 5 business days.
