View Full Version : RODI Question
I just received this WaterGeneral unit model Ro6100DINT.
Is this a good unit?
The 6th stage is a buffer for drinking so do really need it.
I have never used an Rodi unit before but this unit was given to me and
I am starting up a new tank by Sept.
I also know it says 100gpd. Does anyone know the real daliy output?

Any RO/DI unit that will give you zero TDS and pure water is good :)
The drinking water bypasses the DI stage and the 6th stage should just be a carbon polisher for taste so I would still use it.
You would probably get the rated gph if the conditions were ideal such as 90 psi from your water source and temperature of about 70 degrees.
Thanks Pecan,
How about replacement filters. Where does the majority shop.

Bulk reef supply can not beat the prices and service
Good thanks because i have read these units have a horizontal Di stage.
Which is a design flaw and should be a bottom up flow not horizontal flow.
This unit was given to me so i'm going to try to make this thing better.
Thanks
