I have a 70 watt DE bulb in my Sunpod that I need to replace. Where would I find the best price and what should I buy, 1400 or 20,000k?
Any help would be appreciated.

I would say phoenix 14K but I don't think they are available in 70 watt.

I would go with 14K or 20K ushio from marine depot. Should be better color and lamp life than your stock bulb.

Check this post 70 watt metal halide (http://www.reefsanctuary.com/forums/equipment/60124-70-watt-metal-halide-bulb-question.html)

Phenoix doesn't make a 14K in 70 watts. The Ushio 14K didn't get good reviews. Does anyone know if the Ushio 20K will make my sand look blue? I am also concerned about the 20K bulb not being good for softies growth. Anyone?

Absolutley go with the ushio 20k+ bulb from marine depot
Best bang for your buck and will not make your sand look too blue. I run this bulb for the last 2 years

its all preference. I like 14k bulbs my self im not a fan of to much blue but would never purchase a 10k again way to yellow.... just look up pics on all the web sites you can find and pull the trigger on a bulb
