will bubble tip nems hurt clams if they touch. I would imagine they would but would like to know for sure

an anemones tentacles can certainly irritate a clams mantle. if u see the clams mantle retract consistently due to tentacles touching it, u should move the clam to another spot.

Agreed that it can be a problem. On the other hand, one of my maximas has three mini carpet anemones camped out on his shell with no problems. They are right at the edge of his mantle and he just extends over them.
