fungia/plate coral help

two days ago my tank got close to 82 degrees because the AC was broke, later that night I got the AC fixed, tank got back down to 79 by morning.

I noticed that my plate coral had a few places where the flesh seemed to rip open around the razor sharp skeleton underneath.

it's not been extended/inflated the last day or so as usual, but some tentacles are out.

is it a goner, or does the flesh tend to heal back over these exposed parts?

It heals back...just ensure your tank is back in the zone...and give the coral sufficient space flow and light...feeding also helps.

If it doesn't, don't take it out of the tank. Sometimes they start popping babies after they die off.

but that's not all that likely. They usually heal right up
