Can Anyone give me a suggestion on why my Armor of god, purple death, eagle eyes and watermelon zooanthids are not opening?
I also just changed my live rock around to make better cave for my fish and so that the zooanthids can grow freely.

Need alittle more info...how long have they been closed up...couple hours...couple days...a week? Anything else change in your tank besides your rockwork?

Zoanthids were close for the past week now (5-8 days)
lighting 2 T5 blue, 2 T5 white. UV Sterilizer. zoanthids are sitting in the middle of the tank and at the bottom

Check your water parameters. Also if something is irritating the polyps they will not open. Could also be a pest, such as a nudibranch, Do there happen to be white bumps on the polyps? Could also be zoa pox.

you might have moved them into a spot with mre or less flow and lighting.they take time to just use to everything.i would give it up to aweek to 10 days they should open.the more you mess with them the longer it will take.

You mentioned that you moved the rocks around. You could have stirred up detrius which led to a nitrate spike or something. Fortunately zoas can be very tough to kill so just give them time and they will come around.

polyps are still not open! I moves it from high to low lighting and water flow and nothing happen. So I moved it to the middle of the tank were its getting a minimum of both for the past 4 days. They are actually starting to look like necrotic, but the weirdest thing it that its budding and starting a colony but they are not opening.
I also check for parasites and the parameter of the quality of the water and everthing turn good w/o any pest

I'll try to post a picture up today. a
