i just upgraded to a 40b from a 20l, in the 40 i do not have sand right now. some of the frags move quite a bit without having the sand to keep them still, so i am thinking about putting them on live rock rubble so they do not move around so much until i get a sandbed in. do you think that they would be happy?

I glue all of mine to rubble with superglue gel. Then if need be I glue the piece of rubble to a larger rock. That way I can break it off later if I want to change the location.

rubble should be fine.

yup, no problems there. If you glue the rubble to a final place on the rock and it's an encrusting type (zoa, acan, etc.) lay a smoothed transition piece of epoxy putty around the rubble so it blends with the rock below. This will make it easier for the new growth to spread over time.
