Is there a website or page I could look that talks about different types of corals and the type of flow they should be placed in?

kind of like birdnest vs xenia vs acro vs whatever else etc. What types of flow does best for them.

I don't know if I made any sense....

Google is your friend. Or any search engine, really. Just input the coral you are interested in, and you'll get a ton of hits. Good to read most of them through, as there are variations in opinion, and that way you can make your own conclusions.

Aside from that, when I'm in a hurry I usually go to LiveAquaria.com, a sponsor in this forum, and they have basic info on the corals they sell.

Books are a good thing too, Excellent reads, and fun as well. Just search "books" on this forum for titles.

You may want to check out this book:

http://www.amazon.com/Corals-Quick-Reference-Guide-Oceanographic/dp/1883693098/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1279220010&sr=1-1

It doesn't have a lot of really in-depth information on the different corals, but it's very good for quick reference (as the name implies). One of the pieces of information it gives is lighting and waterflow requirements.
