Hi, all.
I have a 120-gal tank with about 40-50 gal between sump and fuge. I'm looking for an oversized skimmer to get rid of some pesky nutrient excess; it looks like my 5-year-old Euro-Reef just isn't keeping up.
The Super Reef Octopus 3000 looks like just the type of "overkill on a budget" that I am looking for. It almost seems like too good to be true.
Is there any reason NOT to get this skimmer? Anyone have any other suggestions in this size range, within, say, 1.5X $'s?
