Looking for options on attaching my C2C. It is the tinted acrylic going onto a glass tank. Unfortunatly it is also two pieced. I have layed the tank down to get it glued/caulked in place, now just need to know what I need.
I was wondering about the GE1 silicone, but wasn't sure if that was good enough.

Not going to have much luck attaching acrylic to a glass tank. You might be able to seal it, but it it may not last. As for your overflow, did you try Weldon to glue it together? I've built most of my acrylic stuff with Weldon 16 and my overflow is working well. I would use the Weldon to glue it together. Is the overflow built like a box, or just bent into an "L"? I couldn't really tell from your other pictures. I've seen several of the overflows built like a box and then you use the bulkheads to hold the overflow in place. You drill a hole in the back of the overflow that matches the hole in the tank, and use the bulkhead to hold it in place with the gasket between the overflow box and the glass.

Dang it, why didnt I think of the overflow BOX. I made mine like a L, but it can be done in a box yet.

Use Amazing Marine Goop, it holds acrylic to glass. It just takes much longer to cure then silicone.
