My tank is 44gal dt with 15 gallons sump.
All my parameters are in check.
8.14 ph
Temp 26-27c
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0-5
Phosphate 0
Calcium 620ppm
Alkalinity 8dkh
Salinity 1.024

I run rowaphos. Doing 10% wc weekly. I recently changed my salt mix to instant ocean reef crystals. Now changed back to tropic mar in because they said that the rc has more calcium. Help me please thanks. What should I do? Wc?

I wc 2x with IO RC for a total of 10 gallons. So that's 10% weekly. Now I changed my salt mix to tropic marin changed 10% 5 gallons.

All corals are doing good no casualty for 2 weeks they are fully open. Is it my test kits? I use API calcium test.

Calcium at that high a level should be precipitating out (>480 or so). You may want to check your magnesium levels as well. Magnesium helps prevent precipitation of calcium (which can be good), but your magnesium levels should be within a safe range. Too high can be harmful.

Maybe have a local store check your parameters to confirm your test kit is accurate?

If you mag is too high, that may be why it isn't precipitating out (a guess). To my knowledge a super high calcium level won't hurt anything, other than create precipitate.

Basically what you could consider is:

->if parameters are ok other than calcium.. just let it be. It will lower on it's own over time.
->alternately, do a few 10% water changes spread over a few days to bring levels down.

If your magnesium turns out to be very high, take care to bring it down. Don't drop it down very quickly.. make some fresh salt water mix, and test your calcium and mag levels. Compare that to your tank parameters so you know whether your fresh mix is going to raise, or lower a given parameter after a water change.

Your other params look very good.

Thanks gweston that helped me alot. I will continue monitoring my system. And do a 10% wc weekly with tropic Marin saltmix. I don't have mag test kit. Will it harm my LS having this high calcium? My calcium is this high for 2 weeks now. I'm a little worried because of that IO reef crystals which I bought two weeks ago didn't do me any good :(

I don't think high calcium will hurt anything.. if the calcium precipitates out it can cover your rock/coral with a calcium dusting. You would see it. If that is the case, may need to blow it off with a turkey baster to prevent it from hurting photosynthetic critters.

If you dose anything additional (2-part, vitamins, etc), may want to check to make sure one of them isn't adding in extra calcium.
