Help Identify, Please - Mis-Named Coral

Hi,
I am trying to find out what this is - don't know if it is a leather or LPS, so I decided to try here.
The store that sold it to the person who has it right now called it a "maze brain" - which to me would mean a favites, but that is certainly not what this is.
It is about the size of a softball.
Any ideas?

Looks like a catspaw to me. Is it hard?

Yes. It is hard. Didn't think to ask that before. Polyps extend from it during the lighting period.

I can't guarantee but i highly suspect it to be a catspaw. Is it like brownish/white in color and the polyps are clear/white?

It's a type of pavona for sure.

+1. It's lighter color than the one I have, but I'd bet money on pavona
